			<description><![CDATA[Saturday, 14 November 2009  <br />Harar, November 14 (WIC) - The East Harerge Zone Disaster Prevention and Food Security Office said close to half a million farmers will take part under safety-net program this budget year.<br />     <br />Office Head, Harun Aliy, told today WIC that program will be executed in 14 woredas of the zone beginning this month.<br />He said the farmers will engaged in soil and water conservation, terrace work, sinking of water wells, as well as construction of road and health posts.<br />Several farmers have become food self-sufficient following the development activities carried out in the zone over the past five year, it was learnt.<br /> <br />WIC]]></description>
